inpa review of 2017
It has been a busy and fruitful year for INPA.
INPA collaborated with WCPT on the Africa Out Reach Project which aimed to make contact with physical therapists working in the WCPT Africa Region in the run up to the 2017 World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) Congress in South Africa. Twelve WCPT Africa Region members are now members of INPA.
Following a call for expression of interest from our membership, Rhoda Allison from the UK and Doris Mbuyu from South Africa were selected to deliver training workshops on stroke rehabilitation, and physiotherapy for cerebral palsy in Senegal on behalf of INPA. Rhoda Allison participated in a second physiotherapy conference in Niger.
Members of the INPA Executive Committee have been invited to present at several physiotherapy conferences to exchange ideas about INPA and listen to the perspectives of international physiotherapists about the role of INPA and neurological physiotherapy in improving the lives of people living with neurological conditions.
Wishing all our colleagues a peaceful, healthy and happy 2018!
